First visit and sadly won't be back no gluten free bread and very limited offerings on the menu for me, ended up having crab cakes not that great my partners chips were cold and obviously reheated, waitress didn't ask if we wanted sauces so helped myself to mayonnaise all the little pots had a skin on them so been left out for a while, we only wanted a lite lunch and cost us £54.00!

Nice welcoming environment, clean and good comfortable surroundings. Food and service were both excellent. Keith and Hannah were helpful and friendly. Will come here again.

Had Lunch at the Hesketh Arms and it was delicious. The crab cake and the skewers definitely recommended. Lovely food and location. We were served by Bethany and was friendly and Attentive.

Unfortunately the service was poor, with the exception of our waitress Nicola, who went above and beyond and seemed to be rushed off her feet. Other staff appeared disinterested including what I assumed were managers. Drinks arrived to the table half way through our main meal. Food not hot enough, such a shame as a lovely setting

Keith was our server and he was very pleasant, accommodating and polite.
We have visited before and the roast was 10/10, this time the roast was good but there was something different about the meat(a little fatty) this time that I didn't enjoy. Nevertheless a nice sunday lunch.

Food Luke warm at best - chicken parmigiana was dry - lacking in sauce. Bacon chop was ok but fried egg was hard and not many chips for price of meal.been coming to The Hesketh for many years but feel then prices have inflated since renovation and food quality hasn’t improved. In view of prices tend to o my eat now when we get vouchers

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Hesketh Arms, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Our server, Jack, truly made our visit unforgettable. He was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His recommendations were spot on, and he made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. As for the food, Carl and Elliot absolutely nailed it. Every dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Although there wasn’t a designated gluten free menu, our server Jack, made sure to cater to our needs. From the mains to the dessert, it was clear that a lot of care and skill went into crafting the menu. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, quality ingredients made every bite a delight. Overall, The Hesketh Arms delivered an outstanding dining experience. Great service, amazing food, and a welcoming atmosphere—what more could you ask for? Highly recommend!
